Coco products like coir pith, coco fibres or coco chips have gained popularity in the production of growing media due to their numerous benefits. The materials are available in the countries of origin, such as Sri-Lanka and India as residual materials from coconut processing. The KRONEN Group uses only coir from selected suppliers that guarantee the high quality required for the use in horticulture, fulfilling social and environmental standards.

pH: 5.5 –6.5 (H2O)

Bulk density: depending on material and grade

Production sites: Lasland sp z o.o.

Structure: different structures available, depending on requirement of the substrate produced

Physical characteristics: long-term structural stability improved re-wetting and drainage characteristics.

Chemical characteristics: medium EC and pH, provides potassium

Application: constituent of peat reduced and peat-free substrates and potting soils, special application in substrates for orchids
